Writer's Block


I have writer's block. Which wouldn't be so bad if my writer's block only impacted the lane three blog. But unfortunately it has affected my academic work too. My research proposal was due at the end of June, and I missed the deadline. My new deadline is the end of August, so I hope that writing it here, in public, I will hold myself accountable. I wish there was some magic shot I could take to jolt me back into writing mode. Caffeine does not do it, so maybe public shame will. The good news is that I have a lot of time to think about how much I slack off on my writing during swim practice, and today's workout gave us ample time to think.

descend 1-4, 5-8 (I only had time for 6: descend 1-3, 4-6)
