That is my average score (out of 10) for my racing dive. I didn't realize I was being judged when I was practicing my racing dives this morning, but apparently the peanut gallery concluded that mine were awful. One quote: "you could eat breakfast between when Bill said go and when I hit the water". That is because I false started twice last week! E and J had much better dives. Who cares, really - it's all about getting in the water with your goggles on, isn't it?
Great day today! C, R, IW, E, and a visitor. IW tried to stir things up by attempting a little foot grabbing during the warmup but was denied. It has to happen organically, IW.

Great set to practice pacing, everyone did great. Visitor was very fast and nearly lapped R and me on the 500 but was very nice to swim with.
Bring your green gatorade tomorrow!
He almost lapped you on the 500 pull? Yikes.... we did a nice ez hypoxic pull after that azz-kicker main set.
ReplyDeleteAs far as your dive, you just need to get rid of the little arm thingy you do like you are ready to shoot off an arrow, and you'll at least look better. That's all that counts, anyway isn't it?
